About the race

ENEA BALTIC SAILING CUP is an offshore catamaran race along the Polish coast, about 200 nautical miles, divided into 5 legs.
Polish coast of the Baltic Sea is an ideal place to hold this type of race for small multihulls. Sandy beaches allow the catamarans to start and finish on the strand.

The ENEA BALTIC SAILING CUP is unique, as there is only one other race of a similar formula, organized in Florida, USA.

The concept of the race defines 5 one-day legs, according to the following schedule:

Wednesday, 23.07.2008
Leg Świnoujście - Mielno - length about 75 Nm

Thursday, 24.07.2008
Leg Mielno - Ustka - length about 40 Nm

Friday, 25.07.2008
Leg Ustka - Łeba - length about 30 Nm

Saturday, 26.07.2008
Final in-port races in Szczecin - day one

Sunday, 27.07.2008 (Szczecin)
Final in-port races in Szczecin - day two

For the 2008 edition we have limited the number of participants to 40 crews, however as the event grows, and becomes more important we intend to increase this number gradually.
