official presentation of the Enea Baltic Sailing Cup 2008

The welcoming interiors of the Jan III Sobieski hotel in Warsaw hosted on 9th July 2008 the official presentation of the Enea Baltic Sailing Cup 2008.

All representatives of the partner cities, sponsors and organizers of the sailing event participated. Media representatives were present as well.

ENEA SA, the titular sponsor, was represented by Paweł Oboda - press officer for ENEA SA. Sponsor of the race - Allianz Direct was represented by Marcin Szporka - Marketing Director. And from Chevrolet, main sponsor we had the pleasure of welcoming Magda Słoniewska - Marketing Manager.

Seaside cities, where the race will take place well represented by: Mayor of Świnoujście - Janusz Żmurkiewicz, Head of the Mielno Commun - Zbigniew Choiński, Ireneusz Jarosławski - Chairman of the Łeba Sailing Harbour and Jerzy Raducha - Manager of the Sea Matters Office of the City Hall in Szczecin. Unfortunately because of the amount of work the representatives from Ustka were not able to join us.

"Catamaran races are becoming more and more popular in the recent years" - said Jarosław Kaczorowski from the "Ocean Races Fundation", one of the Enea Baltic Saling Cup organizers. "A lot of catamarans are sailed especially near the Carribbean, Seychelles and the Mediterranean Sea. More and more often catamarans decide to visit the welcoming waters of Baltic Sea"- added Kaczorowski.

Everyone gathered in the Jan III Sobieski hotel had the opportunity to see the mutimedia presentation of the Enea Baltic Sailing Cup 2008 and ask organizers some "tough" questions.
